Your privacy matters to me. This policy sets out how Mindful Communication owned by Carolyn Davies, uses and protects any information that you provide when you use this website or when we meet face to face or online for coaching and training. This policy is effective from 18 May 2018.

Data Processing and Security

The information collected from you is the personal information you provide for me to process your requests and bring you services that may be of interest to you.

You can rest assured that all communication between your browser and my website is hosted in a secure data centre and the software used is kept up-to-date.

Like any other website, www.mindfulcommunication.co.uk uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on www.mindfulcommunication.co.uk, which are sent directly to users' browser. If you place an order via the website for a course, event or service, you will be asked to give the information necessary to process your order including, but not limited to, your name, telephone number, email address, title. Your contact data is transferred to a mailing list which is managed by mailchimp.

You will receive emails about your booking status. When your service is complete your name will be removed from my database unless you opt in to receive future news about my offers, services and events.

Your payment is made off site through paypal (see pay pal privacy policy) or direct bank transfer I never have access to your credit card or other personal financial information.

I keep course registers and student information in an encrypted password protected files on my computer.

After some courses, events and services, you will be sent a survey through email, for your feedback. Any responses received are used to helps me improve my service. I use survey monkey and google forms

News

You can subscribe to my mailing list to receive general news and event information on this website. I make every effort to only send you information of interest. You can unsubscribe any time simply by pressing the unsubscribe button in an email. My mailing list is managed by MailChimp.

One to one coaching sessions

When you make a booking for a session with me through the contact page on this website a notification is sent to my email address.

I keep a few notes during our sessions these help me remember what the main highlights were and any actions that were agreed. I send you a summary of these notes via email and store this information, alongside your registration on my computer in a password protected encrypted file.

We meet on skype or zoom.

I value your information as much as I do my own and take every measure to keep this confidential and secure. Please read all privacy statements of the services that support ease of management of my services. These are contained in the linked text above.

This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by this website, forms, emails and during face to face or online coaching and training sessions.

Your information will not be sold, reused, rented or disclosed to unspecified third parties.

You are entitled to see any information held about you and may request any necessary changes to ensure that it is accurate and kept up-to-date.

Your information is retained for a reasonable period or as long as the law requires or permit.

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. While our online posts may be viewed by children, we do not seel to receive data from children.

Breach of Privacy

If for any reason you believe that your privacy has been breached through the use of this site, please let the Data Controller know immediately by email, and we will do our best to promptly determine and correct the problem.

Updates

Do check this policy regularly as we will keep it up to date. When I do, I will also revise the “last updated” date at the top of the privacy policy. Please contact the Data Controller if want to discuss any information contained here.
